My journey to founding Pryor Consulting is built on over a decade embedded in the higher education landscape and a deep commitment to the non-profit sector. With 12 years of experience, including significant leadership roles such as Provost, Vice President, and Dean at Bethany College, I've gained firsthand understanding of the strategic challenges, operational realities, and the vital missions these institutions serve. My academic background, holding a Ph.D. in Philosophical and Systematic Theology, has honed my skills in navigating complex ideas, critically assessing new concepts, and translating intricate subjects into understandable insights – skills directly applicable to making AI approachable and practical.  

For the past year, I have had the privilege of serving as a Senior Advisor for the Council of Independent College's (CIC) AI Ready program. Through this initiative, I've been directly involved in providing over 17,000 hours of AI education and actively developing practical tools and best practices specifically designed for the needs of independent colleges and universities. This intensive, hands-on experience has deepened my understanding of the specific AI adoption challenges and opportunities within higher education and further refined my approach to practical, impactful AI training and strategy.
